The EAGCG provides an informal forum for ground control practitioners to exchange ideas and disseminate knowledge related to ground control in mining. It also serves as a technical support network for practitioners who may be professionally isolated.
These objectives are achieved through technical meetings held periodically at mining centres or nearby cities.
The Group is independent and participant-driven, operating for the benefit of those who attend.
Attendance is open to all individuals with an interest in ground control in mining across Australasia. Attendees include, but are not limited to, mine site personnel, consultants, suppliers, and regulators. Attendance at meetings attracts Chartered Professional Development (CPD) points
